Will the Colours fade over time?

With all textiles, colours can fade overtime but there are many ways of keeping colours bright and the textiles in good shape!

• Hand wash over machine washing.

• Do not use chemical based detergents or stain removers, using natural, gentle detergents is a must!

• Line dry in the shade.

• Generally try to keep textiles out of constant sunlight for greater longevity.

How do I wash my naturally dyed piece?

I would always recommended to hand wash with cool water, with some products, machine washing with cold water is an option. With Natural dyes it is important to always wash with a PH neutral detergent.

Furniture

What is my furniture coated in?

Unless mentioned otherwise, timber products are coated in an ‘Osmo Wood Wax’ which is made up of a range of natural waxes found in plants and vegetables.

How do I care for it over time?

Use a damp not Wet cloth to wipe down products to clean, a liquid wax could be reapplied yearly to keep the wood finish up to strength.
